Dennis Boos

After high school, attended SAC for a couple of years, then knocked arround SA filling various jobs, mostly construction related. Became very proficient at foosball, darts, and beer drinking during this period, and not necessarily in that order. Then, in 1977 enrolled at UT and after several dedicated years, graduated in 1979 with ME degree. Went to Houston, worked for as engineer for oil field service company. In 1987, was transferred to California. Was glad to move to California, not so glad the city was Bakersfield. Learned to enjoy smaller town, as Houston was too darn big.

Smaller town was great place to raise my son. Graduated from HS in 2008, now in second year at Cal State, he wants to be a high school math teacher. I was extremely active in his upbringing and attended his baseball tournaments throughout California for many years. He's doing great. Im very proud of my son.

I'm enjoying sales work, plan on working a few more years before retiring. Especially enjoy my quarterly trips to Alaska. I'm a "golf-a-holic", as I've got out and play "pasture pool" at least 2 times a week.

Although I've been away from San Antonio many years, I'll always be a Texan, and not a "California Prune Picker". Always look forward to getting back to San Antonio and the Hill Country several times a year to visit with family and friends.
