I would like to thank Butch and Kay for allowing me to remain part of the class of 70 since my family moved right before my senior year. I have always considered MAC the school I attended. What a rush of memories. Many nights at the TEEN CANTEEN. Can't remember them all but the ones I do were great.

School Story:

Lots of memories of Northwood this is where Ted Wood and I became life long friends. Going to Garner being the kid who road the Motor Cycle to the hill across the street because they would not let me drive it on the school grounds. Remember the sock hops right after school in the gym. (Today the students that I had would not attend a dance right afterschool because we could not get it dark enough for them to dance). Jumping out of a tree and breaking my leg to impress Janet Richardson.

Going to the High School. Remember the bon fire at KTSA for district. Remember being out there when Mr. Davis (no Relation) showed up and tried to take names. (He told Ted and I at the reunion that our "Permanent Records had been expunged". Remember the Frontier Drive Inn and Bun and Barrel. How about Big Daddy Bruce Hathaway and Ricky Ware. Ran into a man about 5 years ago who is the brother of Ricky Ware. Small world.

Remember meeting my first love Patti Patterson who was class of 70 at AH. I know they were one of the enemy but she was sure out of my league but for some reason liked me. Damn I was lucky. Remember the football games. Parking at the end of the runways at the airport. Going to Port A. duing the summer with Vince Covert and Ted Wood. Canyon Lake, Stinky Fall, The pits at New Braunfuls, Getting drunks to buy us alcohol outside of Fort Sam. One key club car rally with Vince we drank SLO GIN and could barely find our way anywhere. Going off the 10 meter board at AH swimming pool.

Still trying to remember 1968 as I tell people if you can remember it you weren't with Ted and Me.

High School was both the best and worst time. The best is all the memories the worst was having to move before the Senior Year. Thanks for letting me remain part of the best class. Right on Class of 1970.
