Only attended MAC my Senior year. Drafted in 1971. Navy Photographer 1971 - 1975 , Naval Station Rota, Spain and USS Kitty Hawk. After graduating from UTSA in 1978, went to NAVY OCS in Newport, served on the USS FOX, USS FORD, and USS SAIPAN. Retired in 1997. Living in DC Metro suburbs, Ashburn, VA. Still love San Antonio. I remember seeing Jimi Hendrix in 1970 at Hemisphere arena. I remember hanging with Van Fritze, Severo Quiroga, and Fritz Holmstrom. I remember drinking Schlitz in quart bottles. Had a San Antonio Light paper route in Alamo Heights. Worked briefly at the Crystal Baking Company as a waiter after getting out of my first 4 years in the Navy. I remember going to Steinke Falls and jumping off the cliff. Also remember the San Pedro Drive in Movie theater. Always wanted to move back to S.A., but my wife is from Connecticut and doesn't want to leave the East Coast. C'est la vie!
