School Story:
I got my BA in Economics. I was half way through a Masters Degree in Marketing when the Great State of Texas decided to give me one year of "free room and board" for marketing the wrong product (pot). I have been working for the State ever since--for the last 31 years (kind of a paradox wouldn't you say?) I was married to a pretty nurse for 25+ years. Sadly, she unexpectedly died in her sleep in August 2004.
In the eighties, my wife and I tamed, trained and sold exotic birds--parrots, cockatiels, cockatoos and macaws--as a side job for five years. We enjoyed it, because we decided we wanted to do some traveling.
In the nineties, we spent a lot of time traveling. We visited 22 different western states and found 7 spots that we deemed "Heaven on Earth." We saw beautiful places without traveling the usual tourist routes...and I think we found the real beauty of America off the beaten track.
I am now working and enjoying life. Hope you are too!
